Also i thought walls could use spiked barricades or something to make them a little more useful since any unit can attack the ones you can build.

Should have Tower upgrades like. Fire arrows. Ice arrows. Poison arrows.

Real basic and a huge change. Fire is naturally armor ignorant regardless of the type it will be same dmg except to Divine.

Ice slows movement/attkspeed.

Poison is a DoT/slows movement.

No change necessary on the "elements" quick easy implementation and i think it would b a big defensive help. With a mixture of these im sure it will give people more to worry about when attking a base. Mix Poison/Ice with a slow spell/cripple on a hero hell walk 1% regular speed. make a hero port no Wards ^^

More flying unit selection. Gryphon aviaries, goblin baloons, floating dwarven tanks, etc. Also, perhaps use food to limit flying units, instead of limiting it to one per player.

Make cruisers able to hit air, and make them slightly faster,to provide a reasonable counter to dragons at sea.

A specialty unit building, buildable by peons, to make expensive(500) portalars, shredders, etc, within a base. These would be individual units, not spawns. Acquiring shredders early on is a significant advantage and is increasingly a matter of proximity and luck. Making them buildable would offset that, as well as allowing greater flexibility in the case of poor base selection.

An expensive income upgrade at each base. Say, 750 for 20 per round, up to 5. That would encourage base captures and extend the gameplay in a meaningful way. Nobody plays factory mode because it takes wayyyy too long.

Extended selection of Tomes or artifacts for heros, appropriately priced, purchased from various locations, or a building made by your own peon (better for balance, imo.)

A sea island base that spawns ships. (lmao)

Capturing shipyards in order to use them (just add hitpoints and the ability to capture, but not destroy. Chasing down "pirates" after destroying and/or capturing every base on the map is annoying.

A special tower in each base that can summon a group of units every 5 minutes.

in no preset mode all bases are purchasable. its been in the game a while, you should try the different modes lol

I like the idea of blacksmith upgrades for towers, but they should be cheaper than the unit upgrades, as there aren't that many towers.

Also, there should be a spiked barricades upgrade for walls in the other upgrade center.

They tower upgrades couldnt be that cheap because building towers is way cheaper than buying unit spawns it would cause massive towering in the game if there is going to be upgrade or different kinds they need to be fairly expensive and limited in amount

or making them only target by siege!!! being the 3rd level you can realy trap someone in there base.

It be cool if towers/walls only costed wood, making it easyer to defend more then one base. Also seeing how wood income depends on how many bases you have more bases = better total defences.

the armor system is good. now do something with weapons just for the hell of it. id love to see ogres with tht bludgening. dealing less dmg to heavy units

How about a mode where the bases are all divided among the players who are there, the remainder being neutral hostile.

EX: 6 players - 6 bases each
4 players - 9 bases each
8 players - 4 bases each with 4 neutral hostile

et cetera.

i agree with this we should be able to have frost, fire, and other upgrades to towers it will make taking a base that more of a crazy venture if we dont know what we are up to

i doubt this will get implimented but id like to see sometype of melee unit put in telen. Also have more choices at zulgash. Its the only base with only two different units.

I also wuold liek to no if siege cud be added to eveybase. bc theres alot of times, i find myself late game without siege. Meaning i have horsefields. I no that doesnt really fit, but it would help out. If not at least have the option to buy something beter to take out walls thats more economical.

Also, is there something for every item in the game. For example bag of fuses. Everyone i ask has no iddea what that goes too. Is there other items out there that is the same thing.

go to the left of dotar area and see the dwarf on the shore that is where you bring bag of fuses.

I too would like to see at least one more unit at Zulgash doesnt have to be anything impressive.

another fun little feature im going to add to FFA mode is the option to anonymize all players. this will change everyones name to the same things and enable ally color filtering so you can't tell which player is which.

Also, a suggestion that i have is NEW HEROES.

stubby i think you miss read the name of the tread, its NEW not old ideals that you want necroed.

Also finishing the heros 5th spell would be nice

NEW IDEA!

I think what we can use is that there are in the start of the game "patrols" of random units scattered over the map.
This type of event can people let there hero lvl up faster with.

Even more quests would be fun also.
And more buyables which in some cases migh involve support casters

Leo, it seems no one has an issue with adding another unit(s) to zulgash. I dont liek playing them bc u have no options when you get that base. I no you have alot of other things to do. Its just everything else has alot.


Also i have no idea what you cud ad to it. Anyone else have some suggestions for a possible unit there.

And i still wanna melee unit at telen. Something better then what they got lol

disciple and warlock is a GOOD combo, esp in early game. the warlock itself offers alot of options cuz it has THREE great spells. the disciple is an avg unit, but the warlock can level the playing field by weakening the enemy AND buffing the disciple. idk what else to add to that base. quality > quantity

in the anonyme mode there every enemy get red colour and you are blue...

u cant know if Lohen scouts u or just a public. can u make them get brown and name is like Player 12?

well u just see at minimap everything RED and if u click at them there is diff but it completly fails at minimap u cant know who is where and so on...colours should stay just the names should be Player #

if colors stay you just have to remember who they were before the game started. the whole mode would be pointless. it is supposed to be confusing and hard.

Lohen - it is an option for FFA, you dont have to play with it

If were really talking about a suicide unit. lets do something that makes sense. Give it mana and on each attack it drains its mana. but each attack does high damage.
since basically every unit orc unit has been used has been used, either customize a creeper or darken ravager.

Slave Worg(sascuatch oracle) or dark ravager with a model size of .70
Hit Points: 666(600 realisticly)
Ability: dying breath, bascially wat i said bout each attack draining its life.
Melee: range 90 <---- so they have to b pretty close
Damage: 22-23
Attack speed. 1.2 <---- these guys would b dps monsters
Defense: 4 upgrade amount 2
Ability: Dying breath, bascially wat i said bout each attack draining its life.

Could you make like a bounty office where like heroes get items after killing a certain number of specific units and they can trade em for gold... like say a hero kills 20 footmen and gets like a footman's ear or head or something to trade in for the bounty.

Also i thought it'd be nice if the treants that the keeper hero can summon could get melee upgrades.

I also thought a neutral base in the sea that you can buy would be interesting. To spawn pirates or something.

Another thing i thought would be cool that i did in a map i made was hero specific items... where there are items on the map for each hero, where until that hero gets the item it does nothing. (pretty much i just made 2 items with the same name and once the right hero got it, it would switch the items where the one that does nothing drops on death and the new one doesn't)

well,
I rather have more bases on the land to improve the "land fight" because almost no one uses the sea, maybe some do to attack bases which lay at water but still, you do not get a big improvement from being the ruler of the water or sthg

i don't think a seafight betters the game, only bases on land is pretty good. if you got a seabase, you nearly couldn't attack it, because ships aren't cheap and noone would att it.

blitzes images are really strong, i prefer getting 15 gold for each image on lvl 6 and lvl 12!

LEO IS PUSHING BASES BACK. MEANING BASES WILL JUST BE FORTHER OUT. THATS THE WHOLE POINT OF HIM ENLARGINGTHE MAP. THERE WILL B NO ROOM FOR SEA BASES WITH PIRATES. WE ALREADY HAVE TRADEWINDS AND THE REST OF YELLOWS NORMAL BASES.

If he doesnt keep the sea he should at lease give alot more water to work with in map. I think ships should be made a bigger part of the game and there should be a few bases you can buy to spawn ships. Like make more of those than the buildings that sell ships and I think more people will use them... but then you could make them a fairly cheap buyable base that can be taken over by other players somewhat easily.

melee heros should be able to attack dragons it can hard to defend early in game agaisnt them and i dont feel like makin a range spawn just to kill them

take some of the trees out around hills and other spots were units run and get stuck in trees around edges of high or unwalkable terran it would speed up the game alittle at end

dont put siege at every base it would mess things up there would be to many of the same thing on the board plus in newer of the revamps to the map range isnt as ownage and then there would be more pple makin just range armys and with ups cheaper its nice to make more complete armys and not pple just massing the same units over and over again lastly not havin seige at all bases makes pple mian more than one base witch makes for more strat. poop

if any thing take siege out of some bases

and please what is that idea for the naval base??
People wont be buying a island as a naval base for a boat to spawn so they can attack some. Because you cant attack all places with a boat
and I dont get it why there still is a sea on the map, for some things it is allright to have, but I rather have a larger battlefield with a bigger diversity of bases and units and quests, inplace of a naval fight

and really wats the point of a pirate base, there was already a thread of units not used in the map, and none of them can be put together to make a pirate base. drop the dam idea. Pirate base= recyling t winds with different unit names.

i think every water boardering base neeeds to have more landing room. Some of the ship landing room on island and coastlines are ridiculously difficult, and units just land wherever thers a cavity rather than in groups like they should.

I prefer a complete base revolved around ninjas, over pirates anyways
But even so, theres tons of spots u can land in game to fk people up, i honestly dont see anyone use the outside border of water other then to boat around in it when they die. theres tons of possibilities and strats you could use. people dont pay attention to the border water and no one takes advantage of that, therefore water = useless!

What About a peninsula base? easily defended against land attacks but completely open to sea attacks.

Also... what if you had 12 neutral bases total that can be bought so you can have a mode option to make people start with 4 bases instead of 3 or even make 1-4 starting base options and the rest can be bought. Like if it is not normal mode.

well we should make more creep base and more quest like Find the Lost heroes. The quest is about a status of some heroes and u need to find the Activate Status Heroes stone well it should be make the item at some hard creeps and when u find it u will need to go to the status with your heroes and u will get 2 hero and they have skill like command aura,Death coil,Summon portal,Mass Decrease Armour and one utimate skill as the Summon The 4 Demon with Hp 1200 with different spell . And the other hv Blizzard Fall, Frezzing Breath,Howl of Terror ,attibute point and lastly utimate is the Tranform into the Huge Evil Master Dragon and its because ranged hero with the tranform last for 5 min it has 4 skill Summon The Dragon BaBy and Lastly the Regenation Hp Quick.Well lf u want to kill the creep u need to hv lot of unit cos this creep is hard. what u mean like blow out ur back wall of miliania and build a bridge across river. where could this really be used dont u just think a portable portal for 300 gold would make more sense

Buildable bridges are an excellent idea. If you could link them up, you could make a crazy pontoon bridge to anywhere.

lol you could use a bridge to invade the river run spot easily. Wouldn't see that coming.
You could make all the bridges elsewhere in the map destroyable.. But i think it would be cool if you could make them drawbridges, that way if you wanted to let your boats through you just need to press a button, and you could also use them as a sea wall for defense against boats.

Always is fun, but a bridge would make it way easier. Also could use a bridge to quickly attack celen from the west side of it... people who lame would undoubtedly use this to get an easy lame off a usually hard to attack base.

Also i thought what if some of the bases along the sides of the map(the ones with mountains on the sea side of their bases) had a passage to the sea where they could use ships or be attacked by ships, but also put a ship yard at each spot (Bases such as hellmouth, horde hall, light blues main base (forget name but its one with assassins), hillborough and Makthier(dwarf main.. think this is the name)).

im not sure how much of a use i can really see for bridges. wouldnt usig transport boats be a cheaper more efficient way

it wouldnt be moer efficent of any sorts. ud have to load unload repeat. hope they dont get shot. where ass if players are laying down a bridge. they can just flood there units in a base. im sure the bridge would have fort armor so it would take a while to kil. or mabey through triggers, make it so its invulnerableish. fighting on it over time kills it. itl b a gamble no one will know when its near death

well there already is a portable portal.. its the wisp guy from the quest. I can think of infinite ways to utilize bridges effectively, so dao dont tell me theres only 4 uses for them. Don't underestimate the creativity of the map. ITS KINGS MASTERPIECE
