Introducing? The Board Adoption Program!

What it is you ask? It can be compared to an ?Adopt a Highway? program, except much better. You get moderator over the board, and full powers just like Partners have over their forum (see here), but in return you are responsible for getting people to use the forum, the stickies, telling people what the board is about, and of course cleaning up the spam. The board will also still be considered a public board, so you cannot harass, ban, etc, and global moderators may help you whenever they feel they should.

Still don?t understand? Here?s an example; Let?s say there?s a member on PoLlama named Bob1234. Bob1234, along with being a major fan of WarCraft, is also a big time fan of Counter Strike, and would like a board he has easy access to for Counter Strike. He decides to adopt a Counter Strike board on PoLlama, and creates all the stickies telling everyone about Counter Strike, tips, tricks, etc. Eventually people on the board get interested, or new people, start posting in his board. Thus a success, he has a forum which he has power over, all about a subject he loves, with people actually using it.

What happens if the board goes unused? We just remove it, no big deal. It doesn?t just have to be a new board, it can also be an already existing board, such as Graphics, Tech Help, Battlegrounds, and more.

This system solves a major problem, we want the forums to cover a wide-range of topics, but we can?t for the following reasons?

Lack of expertise. (We don?t have anyone on the team who is knowledgeable in the area).
Lack of activity. This goes along with #1, but we create boards based upon their activity on the existing boards. If no ones posting about it, we have no idea.
It looks unprofessional. Why would a warcraft forum have a counter-strike board? Board Adoptions gives us the perfect excuse.

EDIT: OK, so since no one seems to be getting it, we give you moderator over a forum of your choosing, already existing or not. Your responsible for stickies, and you need to be knowledgeable in the board's subject.
