IPBan Forgivance?

Should we remove all IPBans? Of course certain IP Bans such as VG_Emblem, Oninuva, and proxies would stay. You guys decide.

Re: IPBan Forgivance?

Depends on what they were banned for.
Like breaking more than 5 rules than they should stay banned.

Re: IPBan Forgivance?

Yes well one of the reasons I was thinking about this is that we don't exactly have names matched up to banned IPs and well I don't know whos who except the first 17 or so are VG.

"I'll ban anyone from that clan that hosts .79c"

But no to everyone else and future bannies.

But a ban is a ban not a boot a kick nor a suspension.

Re: IPBan Forgivance?

i believe they should stay banned because if they really wanted to be a member of the forum and show their decication after they got banned, it would be most likely that they would at least attempt to try to make negotiation of unbanning through email or something. but if they dont and they become unbanned, it is most likely that they will make the same mistakes over again, which i know, most of you would hate.

Re: IPBan Forgivance?

i dont think his mom would let him lol.

but i think we should allow him back i mean he did make me laugh several times and if we give him restraints (like maybe 5 posts a day or something) untill he proves he is a different wombat then i dont see why not. i mean we could allways reban him if he shows the stupidity of the past.

Right now I say that MrApples even concidering forgiveness to IPBans is something that shows kindness to mercy to. And I respect that. A lot. More then you know. Is there any person who was just banned and not IPBanned? Because if there is then you might want to 'experiment' on them first.

Re: IPBan Forgivance?

Even if they are unban we should keep a close eye on them. I say that we should let wombat come back and 'experiment' on if it was a good idea or not. And it doesn't need to be wombat. It can be someone else. Just someone who was banned to the smallest reason compare to the others banned guys.

Last time that happened...well...meks happened.
People are not just banned or w/e for the fun of it, there needs to be a legit reason, and at the time/under the circumstances, legendarys ban was legit. Its not anymore, but anyways, no lab rats.

You forgot a 'not' titan , and its called a Suspension, not a ban if its tempoarily. -Apples
