The Tournament Let's play a fun small game. We will hold a tournament where anime/manga series will battle it out to see which series people likes best. If things works out then one series will win on New Years. We will hold a battle every month by using polls. Because we are so close to the end of the year. We can only have 5 battles, one for each month. So we will use the last days of July to pick the 6 anime/manga series that people will pick. Members are asked to nominate 3 anime/manga series of their choosing. All I want from the poster is just the three anime/manga series name. You will rank them, #1 being your first choice, #2 being your second choice, #3 being your third choice. This is how all posts in this topic should look like. Quote: 1. Anime/Manga series #1 2. Anime/Manga series #2 3. Anime/Manga series #3 You must have 3 anime/manga series name or that post will be deleted. If you add extra things to your post then I will edit the post so it will only have the 3 anime/manga series name. People should post only once in this topic. Nothing is final until August 1 so you can edit your post as much as you want. The 6 series that will be picked depends on how many people nominated for them. If you want to convince people of changing some of their anime/manga series nominations then do it through PM. You can also ask people members to join the topic and add their own but you will not harass any members. As soon as they ask to stop sending PM's about the topic. You are expected to stop. Sorry if I'm being a little strict but because this is the first time PoLlama is doing this. I want things to go smoothly. Prizes You're probably wondering what's the point of doing this? Well first of all, it'll probably be fun. Also second of all there are prizes. The prizes will be reputation points. The prizes will be on the three nominations. So it is smart nominating your favorite anime/manga series and also try to make other members that shares your love of that series as well. The Prizes -If your #1 nominated series wins. You will win 100 Reputation Points -If your #2 nominated series wins. You will win 75 Reputation Points -If your #3 nominated series wins. You will win 50 Reputation Points Special Prizes -You will automatically get 10 Reputation Points just for posting your 3 nominated Anime/Manga series. Remember that you can only post one post in this topic. -If one of your 3 nominations is the winning Anime/Manga series then everyone who nominated that series will be grouped together and will divide a (Number I will pick depending on how many people nominated that series) Reputation Points So if the special number was 200 and two people nominated the winning anime/manga series. Then the two winners will pick how they should split 200 Reputation points. (ex. 100/100, 50/150, 75/125 etc.) Notice I am still working out all the details so if you have any ideas then give me a PM. Look below for the link to send me a PM. Just for your Information A new tournament will probably start on January 1, 2009 if this one goes well. So I will be asking for nomiations again around December. The only thing difference is that the second one will probably be much larger, it will be 14 Anime/Manga series going against each other. The prize might be larger too. Questions? This was kind of a failure. But I am planning on redoing this because of the increase in activity. The first round will probably start sometime in January. This time, think of your top 5 anime/manga series. I will make a new topic of this in a few days.
